Meet The Team

United Arts Academy was founded and is directed by Laura and Jason Gray.

Laura and Jason trained at BodyWork Cambridge Performing Arts and have enjoyed extensive professional performing careers across the UK and internationally. Their performance credits include Fame: The Musical (European Tour), Thriller Live (West End, World Tour, European Tour and Japanese Tour), Starlight Express (Germany), The Illusionists(International Tour), P&O Cruise Ships, BBC’s All Together Now, as well as numerous corporate events both in the UK and worldwide.

In addition to their performance careers, Laura and Jason work extensively as choreographers, with credits including BBC, Porsche, Givenchy, Santander, Alan Sugar’s Tropic Skincare, and P&O Cruise Ships.

With over 15 years of teaching and creative experience, they have worked with both children and adults at some of the country’s leading stage schools and industry events, including BodyWork Cambridge Performing Arts, Urdang Academy, Move It, Italia Conti, and Pineapple Dance Studios.

Jason is a fully qualified vocal coach, working with both professional performers and aspiring professionals, supporting vocal technique, performance confidence, and career development.
Laura is a qualified yoga teacher and works as a Creative Arts & Wellbeing Practitioner, bringing a holistic approach to training that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

After starting a family, Laura and Jason chose to step away from life on the road and return to Lincolnshire, where they are now raising their two young sons. They believe that coaching and mentoring play a vital role in personal development and take great pride in passing on their knowledge, experience, and passion to others.

Laura and Jason are deeply passionate about the arts and are dedicated to guiding young, aspiring performers towards a happier, more confident way of life through the transformative power of creativity, performance, and wellbeing.
